Privacy Policy

How SpaceXBytes collects, uses, and shares information (United States).

Effective date: July 11, 2026
Last updated: July 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how SpaceXBytes (“SpaceXBytes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use spacexbytes.com and related pages (the “Site”), including Pad Sim. This policy is intended for users in the United States.

1. Information we collect

a. Information you provide

If you email us (for example at privacy@spacexbytes.com or legal@spacexbytes.com), we receive the content of your message, your email address, and any information you include.

b. Automatic technical data

When you visit the Site, our servers and providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from IP
  • Browser type, device type, operating system
  • Pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps
  • Diagnostic logs for security and reliability

c. Cookies and similar technologies

We and third parties may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences (for example Pad Sim high scores in your browser’s local storage), measure traffic, and—if enabled—serve or measure advertising.

d. Pad Sim game data

Pad Sim may store game progress or records in your browser (local storage). That data stays on your device unless you clear it. We do not require an account to play.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Site and game
  • Understand aggregate usage and performance
  • Secure the Site, prevent abuse, and debug errors
  • Respond to your requests and legal obligations
  • Display advertising or measure ad performance if we enable ad partners

3. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who host, secure, or analyze the Site (for example Cloudflare or similar CDN/hosting, analytics vendors)
  • Advertising partners if ads are enabled (they may set their own cookies; see their policies)
  • Legal and safety when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

We do not sell your name or email as a standalone product. Under some state laws, “sale” or “sharing” can include certain advertising/analytics cookie disclosures—see Section 6.

4. Third-party content and links

The Site may embed or link to third-party services (for example launch webcasts, X/Twitter, YouTube, external articles). Those services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

5. Data retention and security

We retain logs and communications for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your privacy rights (United States)

Depending on your state of residence (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws in other states), you may have rights to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where applicable
  • Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights

To exercise rights, email privacy@spacexbytes.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and enough detail for us to verify and respond. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

Do Not Track: The Site does not currently respond to browser DNT signals in a uniform way because industry standards are inconsistent.

Children: The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

7. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand information may be processed in the U.S., where laws may differ from those in your country.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
